Weekly Inventory Updates

I have completed this process every week for This and Other Stores throughout 2026.

I pull these on Sundays because it’s normally your largest PO of the week.

Inventory at the stocking DC changes constantly, a real “moving target” just as your store’s inventory is.

To keep your inventory current and clean, I make Weekly Updates that include the following steps:

·       Remove order points (OPs) for old part numbers.

·       Set new order points for new part numbers.

·       Transfer your sales history from the old part numbers to the new ones to complete the process.

Why Timely Updates Matter

My process updates your inventory quickly, rather than one or say next month—when you or a counter professional looks up a part and says, “I know we used to stock that.” But the product has not been updated.

That Delay can cause a Missed Sale and Frustration for You.

When you see that you Possibly could miss $170.00 In sales just from one week’s update, think how much you could be missing over a month, 2 months, etc.
