I Remember Getting My Butt Chewed Out
Why the DC Stocking Guide Matters
I’ve heard from some of you that your AE may be reluctant to provide your DC Stocking Guide because the corporation does not want it to be shared.
This guide was created years ago because Owners were Not Receiving Credit when the DC said it no longer stocked a part, and they didn’t send the part back to you either. You were not told in advance, and the parts were not superseded for you. I know, I remember having 20 customers chewing my butt every time this would happen. And most of you remember too. I hear some of you saying you still chase credits. Some of that is human error. A lot of it may be for the same reason…. This is Your Stocking Guide. You have every right to it. When you compare what DAT identifies for return with what I find for you, the reason becomes clear:
They do not want to take back the non-selling items they sold you.
The Opportunity
I have automated part of that process so we can drill down to your store’s specific inventory and identify items that may qualify for return.
What You Should Do
· Tell your AE that you want your DC stocking guide.
· Then we use the guide to identify non-selling items that may be eligible for return.
· Put that money back into inventory with a stronger chance of selling.
You are the store owner, and it is your money. I am a contract employee working for you, but you are the one who must request the list and take action. #classaction. Returning non-selling inventory and replacing it with Inventory that has a Good Possibility of Selling according to DAT is Win-Win for Everyone. It helps You, helps AAP, supports your AE, and can improve your sales results.
This is a No-Brainer.
DAT works for Everyone. I will just find you more legit Non-Selling Parts.
Stand Firm with the Belt of Truth Buckled around Your waist.
